Out-of-Town Patients

Traveling to Sarasota

Patients travel from across the country for Dr. Bokman. Getting here is simple: two airports, hotels minutes from the office, and a recovery plan arranged before you ever book a flight.

Getting Here

The airport is on the same road as the office

Sarasota-Bradenton International (SRQ) is the airport of choice: it sits on University Parkway, the same road as the office, about 20 minutes door to door. SRQ has nonstop service from much of the East Coast and Midwest on the major carriers.

Tampa International (TPA) is about an hour north and offers the widest choice of nonstop routes, including international connections. Many out-of-town patients fly into Tampa and drive down I-75.

Recovery & Aftercare

A recovery plan before you book a flight

Most out-of-town patients recover comfortably in one of the suite-style hotels above, minutes from the office, and return for their follow-up visits before flying home.

Every traveling patient's plan is arranged in advance: how long to stay, where to recover, and when it is safe to fly. Discuss your travel dates at your consultation and the plan will be built around them.
