An earlobe repair is performed to correct elongated earlobes, torn lobes, stretched holes from piercings or gauges, and botched lobes from prior surgery such as a facelift, known as the pixie ear deformity. What to expect

Recovery is short, up to one week. Bruising and swelling are minimal. The earlobes and ears in general are sensitive parts of the body, so patients may sometimes experience pain and sensitivity for up to a week after surgery. Stitches are removed after one week.
